The Production of My Life!
It took a little less than six months of planning and a lot of patience, but we did it! We realized my vision for our wedding, and it was more than I could have ever asked for.
A few weeks before the big day, I realized that this wedding was like any show… I was of course the playwright and the leading lady. Scott was (and always will be) my love interest and the leading man. My parents (special thanks to mom) were the producers, handling most of the financing and the logistics with vendors. Scott’s parents were investors in the production… Our patient catering manager was the director, our knowledgeable rabbi was the dramaturge, the florist our creative scenic designer, our DJ and pianist were our talented musical directors, and our amazing dance instructor was our choreographer.

My friend and stylist did hair and makeup, my sister and brother in law were stage managers that day. My sister was also an asset with prop master duties, supplying champagne flutes and a cake cutter.
And of course, last but not least, our family and friends — the audience, without whom the show could never or would never come to life!
It was a WONDERFUL day, filled with a lot of emotion and celebration — one I’ll never forget.
In theatre and in life, it’s always a collaborative effort!
Here’s to my next big opening night!
